Rumor has been that stamping is going to lose 17 jobs in material handling? Any information would be appreciated

Material handling is plant wide. As long as you have 17 people below you, you should be fine. You would just go where they would need you.

They have many extras right now due to many parts have been sent out to be stamped elsewhere...once new body gets up and running, they will need most of what they have now from what I've been told.

They are adding forklifts in stamping to cover the new press, roll form, and steel. I know many that are being added soon. Not sure where this rumor started. We will be busier than ever as the aluminum parts are made. We will go from 21 to 27-28 on our drots. There will be extra shutters added to run parts from stamping to new body. We have not heard if they will be body or stamping jobs though.

One person I know well failed his physical and chose to stay on the line. I'm not sure if they will bid it out again or just go to the next person on the list from the original bid.

Stamping material handling is its own natural work group.

There are 3 or 4 separate entities within material handling.

Other teams reducing also. I know of teams in Final cutting 6 people per team out soon.

Correct. Stamping Material Handling is a totally separate bid from Material Handling.

I heard there was a high turnover rate in trim. If that's the case no one is getting cut. They still haven"t released people from their jobs for material handling.
