LAP Retiree "Maxie" Huff passed away 3/30/2017
1938 - 2017
Mr. Walter Maxwell "Maxie" Huff, 78, of Brooks, KY returned to his Heavenly
Father Thursday, March 30, 2017.
Mr. Huff was born on April 29, 1938 in West Point, Kentucky. He worked at
Kosmosdale for 25 years and retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years of
service. Mr. Huff also served as a member of the Eagles Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayman and Lois Daley Huff; wife, Donna
Huff and brothers, Vernon and Ray "Buster" Huff.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kim Swift (Mark); grandchildren,
Tanner, Cameron and Kyler Swift; 3 step daughters; 6 step grandchildren;
siblings, Georgia Faith, Shirley Huff and Patsy Mabrey; numerous nieces and
nephews; and close friend and caregiver, Brenda Applegate.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of
Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
Friends may pay their respects on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8
p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. A graveside
service will be held Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Bethany Memorial
Cemetery.
