Management is now assigning vacations for anyone that did not scheduled it. The best part is that they are not telling anyone. I found out I was scheduled in Feb. because I asked to be paid a vacation for a go home and was told I didn’t have any time, even though I was showing time on my check. I have heard of 2 other people finding out after it was too late, one person found out after he was already at work.
They may be doing it for June eligibility only. Check your calendars to make sure you haven’t been scheduled and not told.

My boss paid everyone in his area any vacation time we had left on our last check of 2009. I couldn't understand why my hours got zeroed out with June eligibility...plus the elimination of pay in lieu...didn't make sense. My boss came and told me he made a mistake. LOL It was no big deal to him, but a huge deal to all of his employees who have no time left now due to his "mistake". That place almost tries daily to make me want to go back to LAP. But with a good job out there, I may have to stay.

So to keep Ford from paying extra money out at the end of May he paid it out in the end of 09. Sounds like standard ktp Management decision making.

Total fucking joke...one guy in my area has some serious hours left...only to have ZERO now. His answer...I'll give you unpaid days off when you want them. What happens when he switches shifts? LMAO

I already have one issue form a supervisor in Body from the time off. I hope its the same clown.

Hey Kess...I'm pretty sure they corrected their mistake, but they didn't even do that right. Contractually, they can only take back $100 a week...but they took over $400 out of one of his checks. Bill McCall(sp?) is the sup, but I think all is well now.

From what I hear, Bill McColl can't handle payroll correctly...supposedly, he's a repeat offender.
