News agencies rarely get a story 100 percent accurate....the bones of the story look good....I think more and more info will come out sooner rather than later
And, we know Mually is putting effort into Lincoln, just sharing the info

It sounds like a new model altogether...but since we are supposed to be getting rid of the Mercury Mariner, it would make sense to make a Lincoln version. But they are acting like this will be a brand new vehicle...I see it being on the C platform obviously...maybe the Lincoln version of the Kuga???

More than likely they are building off the success of the Expedition / Navigator model only in the C segment. A significant amount of the Nav parts sheet metal are unique to the Nav
