Salary is losing Humana at beginning of the year. For the family telling me about it(ktp supervisor) they will have a $2000 yearly deductible, $400 monthly premium. After deductible only a 70/30 coverage......wow

Wow... This is unsustainable....Just too much cost in system, the insurance company has to make a profit, the hospital has to make a profit, the doctor has to make a profit. There needs to be a public option, regular people can pool there money to buy medical coverage without subsidizing an insurance company's bottom line. Maybe the doc and the hospital will give us a break on price like they do, BC or Humana......fing insurance companies, I'd have more respect if they came out and said .....WE'RE here make money and let you die

I'm currently on ILO and on my wife's insurance. This is very similiar to what our policy is except for the 70/30 deal. Everybody needs to be prepared for the next contract for some health benefits getting tighter.

Everybody needs to be prepared for the next contract for some health benefits getting tighter. Which is why we need a public option, without IT insurance companies can just keep raising cost, the justice dept is already investigating BCBS for price fixing Instead of coming after my coverage, I'd rather attack their profit...public option

My supervisor told me that his insurance cost him $12,000 last year. It seems like you could get it on the open market cheaper than that.

I'd be better off saving that money in an account & not having insurance than paying that much. Wow!
