The union said that the company had wanted to negotiate a 5-year agreement- but the union declined. The union would only negotiate the things necessary for the tear-out, retool, and launch.
Negotiated pay rates were included, giving most classifications a raise. They talked about cleaning up the language associated with a reduction in force, should it ever happen again to avoid the same problems that just occurred.
Steve went over house painting during retool and the associated surveys.
They talked about the order in which everyone would be recalled back to work. They said to make sure your info with the company was correct, of course.
Barry talked about how they will handle surveyed overtime, and shift of overtime. He also talked about classifications.
....and then I glazed over.......does any one have anything to add. I will post any updates on this from Steve as they become available.
