Hello, I would like to bring your attention on a new post published on the UAWLAP.org Site. Details of the post follow. In Solidarity, Steven M. Stone JOHNSON, RAYMOND LOUIS, 62, passed away on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at his home. Ray was born on October 13, 1947 in Louisville to Raymond Louis Sr. and Jesse Belle Crawford. He attended Durrett High School. Ray was a proud member of the UAW Local #862, where he worked for Ford Motor Company in Louisville for 38 years. While in the Union, Ray protected the rights of his fellow Union brothers and sisters. Ray was a lifetime member of the Bullitt County Shrine Club, member of the Scottish Rite Temple and Kosair Shrine. While in the Shrine, Ray was president of the Gold Wing Motor Corp's Unit. Most recently Raymond was a supporting member of the VFW Post 1427 in Charlestown. Ray is survived by his long time companion, Denise "Dino" Jewell; sons, Tony (Amy), Terry (Carissa) Johnson; brothers, Gary and Harold Johnson; sister, Sharon Murphy, Gene (Audrey), Joe and Jimmy Jewell; grandchildren, Tariana, Carena and Caden Johnson, Michael, Thomas, Destiny, Angel and Taylor Jewell.
