I went to file and had to start a new claim at the end of it all it says I'm required to apply for a job once a week and can't file my first claim til Jan 17th. Just wondering if this is right or did i do something wrong? How did it work out for all the other fellow TLO'd LAP'ers out there?

Yep got the same thing when doing it online. Oh and BTW with no return date I believe we are ILO till we get a return date, or we wouldn't have to look for jobs. Just my Opinion maybe Steve will chime in and correct me.

Yes you do have to look for a job once per week and will have your first review the week of 2/14. Second, you will be on bi-weekly claims, so the first time you can claim a check is the week of Jan. 17. Right now we are just opening a claim. You have to wait two weeks to file that claim.

I was told by the committee person that we are definitely not on ilo but tlo & that the reason we have to look for a job is because of the length of the layoff. Dont know if he was right, just what I was told. There is some good info about looking for a job on the thread "question about UI". I did mine online at monster.com
