Mr. John Savona was lean manufacturing manager and then plant manager at Mi Trk MTP..... He had to do all the nasty cuts at MTP prior to the planned retrofit. Seems he excelled in the cutting dept... After the planned cuts at MTP he moved to AAI Flatrock Mi where he basically repeated the same process. (more cuts) Both MTP & AAI were two shift plants reduced to one.... MTP later closed, Mr. Savona moved to AAI before the new vehicle was announced for MAP.... This will be a different type of assignment for Mr. Savona, (starting a plant, instead of closing one) I'm sure he welcomes the change, very focused frugal manager, I'm sure he'll meet the metric's, that have been established by Ford. ME body (Shew) (KTP) buddies with Mr. Savona (I heard).... former Wayne Complex or something Read more: scottrlap.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gossip&action=display&thread=9171#ixzz1Af4uDNtj
