what if they change the name of LAP to something else. Wouldn't that change RTBU rights as well. It would not suprise me.

I believe that is the name of the concept vehicle. The production vehicle will be named Escape.

I believe that is the name of the concept vehicle. The production vehicle will be named Escape. Same thing I thought until I reread this: "A decision on the name has not been finalized." "We are still discussing it," Mays said. "The Escape name in the U.S. is obviously very popular. And the Kuga name in Europe has been very popular as well. So a decision has yet to be made."

I wonder if we will build a Mazda version of the vehicle, also, or did Ford sell all its stake in Mazda..

I think that is just the concept name. But it wouldn't suprise me a bit if they played the name switch game. If theyhave the chance to screw 3000 people out of there right to transfer.....they will. As mentioned atlanta is proof they can and will do it.

As mentioned atlanta is proof they can and will do it. That's not how it works. Cool story though, but have faith. Even if the bottom fell out at KCAP there is room across the system for all.

how could someone sign their paper work to follow the escape when the job posting has not been offered yet. I personally know a lot of kcappers who want to come to lap and are waiting for the posting to happen, but as of yet no posting to sign-up for.

Last time I talked to Jeff Schmit (barganing chair) he was guessing June. But, he had not been told anything.
