Hello, I would like to bring your attention on a new post published on the
UAWLAP.org Site.
Details of the post follow.

Paystub Online will be enhanced effective January 21, 2011 to allow active
employees the option to "Save and View" their W-2 form in MS Word format. This
will also allow employees to print their W-2 and should assist in the
preparation and filing of income tax returns.
NOTE: Employees are not required to go to Paystub Online in order to obtain
their W-2. Each employee will still have a copy of their W-2 mailed to their
address of record by January 31, 2011.
Paystub Online experiences the highest volume of use during income tax season.
It is recommended that all employees take the following steps in order to be
able to access and use Paystub Online in an effective and efficient manner
during the upcoming income tax season.
Make Sure Your Password Has Not Expired
The password that you use to access Paystub Online must be reset every 90 days
from the Ford intranet (or kiosk). (Note: LAP is still working with Dearborn
to freeze the entire password for employees on TLO.) This is a corporate
requirement for all employees using any application(s) housed within the Ford
Intranet. If you reset your password in December or early January it will be
good for the majority of the upcoming income tax season.
It is not necessary to call the Corporate Help Desk to accomplish a password
reset. You can perform the reset yourself as long as you are registered with
P-Synch. In order to register with P-Synch simply go
to www.changepassword.ford.com and set up your personal question and answer
profile. The entire process will take two to three minutes to complete. Once you
are registered with P-Synch you can manage your future password resets by going
to www.changepassword.ford.com instead of calling the Corporate Help Desk.
Please note that registering with P-Synch and managing future password resets
may only be done through the Ford intranet from a kiosk or computer inside a
Ford location. The password can not be changed through the internet.
If you are not registered with P-Synch or if you encounter other issues
regarding accessing Paystub Online you will need to contact the Corporate Help
Desk at 1-888-317-4957.
Security Precautions
If you print your W-2 from any computer, other than your home computer, make
sure that you follow all security precautions to protect your confidential
information.
When printing your W-2, you may be prompted with a dialogue box that states
"Margins in Section 1 are outside the printable margin". Click the "OK" button
to proceed with printing.
Immediately pick up your printed W-2 from the printer.
Do not print multiple copies of your W-2 if your W-2 did not print as expected.
Determine why it did not print and make all necessary corrections and then
immediately pick up the printed W-2 from the printer.
When finished, logoff from the browser so that your information is not viewable
by people who use the computer after you do.
