I just heard that they are taking 20 more into skilled trades and most of that 20 are there because they sued ford! Does Ford still take only people who score the highest or do they grade on a curve?

I assume that you are talking about the new apprentices that they are talking about adding to skilled trades. Some minorities filed suit nationally several years ago about the test procedures being unfair, as I recall. Lawsuit was settled and allowed x amount of minorities to place placed on waiting list. Also a number of years ago, the test procedures were changed to allow more senority employees a chance to get on the waiting list. It used to strictly go by highest test scores but senior employess thought that gave younger employees an unfair advantage because their educational experience may have been fresher in their minds. Seems like the changes included something like having a minimum test score (70 percentile comes to mind) and then seniority figures in. I could be way off on all of this. Going by memory which isn't what it used to be.

I just hope that the Airline companies dont follow suit for people like these. Nothing like having an unqualified pilot in control of hundreds of lives.

Sound like you're NO NAME CALLING for commenting on something you know nothing about. Some people have to stand for something or fall for anything.

If you dont take the time to study and research what you want to do, then you have no business going into that field. I've been called alot worse by alot better people then your self.
