Stone Governor Beshear Orders Flags to Half-staff on Feb. 26 FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2011) – Gov. Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 in honor of a Fort Campbell soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. According to the Department of Defense, Spc. Jonathan A. Pilgeram, 22, of Great Falls, Mont., died Feb. 17 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. Funeral services for Spc. Pilgeram will be held on Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time at Croxford Funeral Home in Great Falls, Mont. Burial services will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Great Falls. Gov.
