Every election I can remember for 18 years I've gotten at least one nice ink pen. Are times so tough now that candidates can't pass out better stuff?

I have seen very little campaigning going on. Seems like everybody is just passing out paper.

I think with the bigger positions, does campaigning really matter? At this point, you know who would make a good bargainer, etc... Reputation and how well you do the job is what gets you vote, not if you get a ink pen, button, a flyer, or anything else for that matter. You should earn your position, not purchase it.

Bryan St. Clair told me to inform everyone he will giving out Made in the USA high quality ink pens when compaigning next week for committeman. Regardless of the free ink pen, I would still be voting for Bryan.

Vanda Moore gave out ink pens when she campaigned...we all got one. And Alphonso Cash gave out CHOCOLATE!

I agree with ScottR, those positions should be earned and not bought. That is part of the problem we have had to deal with these past few years. Anyone that gives me something so I can vote for them didn't get my vote. You want my vote then you had better earn it.
