Don't forget that the '05 Mods is when we picked up healthcare deductibles, Rx changes, Instant -$0.17 COLA diversion, and subsequent -$0.02/quarter COLA diversions.
In '09 we lost all COLA, Xmas Bonuses in 2009, '10, & '11, OT only over 40 Hrs., No Vac Pay-In-Lieu, went to 5 min/hr relief, and lost Monday after Easter for 2009, '10, '11.
In '09 we also got the empty promise of Equity of Sacrifice.

Speaking of that, how can the equity of sacrifice be so 'secretive' since it was supposedly in the hands of a mediator? WTF!?!?

I remember about 2 contracts ago, before the firestone tire deal, before 9/11.
We were scheduled to get about a 3 dollar raise over the next few years until the next contract. We ended up receiving that first installment, but then firestone tire thing happend, and the rest of the raises were canceled.
I want my 3 dollar raise the most out of the next contract! Second, I want AC in the plant !

Firestone debacle was 2000-2001 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firestone_and_Ford_tire_controversy9/11 was 2001 The first contract to be opened was the 2003 contract in December 2005. We got the 2% Raise in '05, but lost the 3% raise in '06 and assumed healthcare deductibles, Rx changes, Instant -$0.17 COLA diversion, and subsequent -$0.02/quarter COLA diversions Then in 07' we had another contract with economic gains promises that were negotiated away in Feb '09 along with all COLA, Xmas Bonuses in 2009, '10, & '11, OT only over 40 Hrs., No Vac Pay-In-Lieu, went to 5 min/hr relief, and lost Monday after Easter for 2009, '10, '11.

I'd settle for:
--An ice machine within 1/4 mile of my workstation, one that works anyway. --A constant supply of soap and paper towels.
Hell, I've lowered my expectations quite a bit in the last few years.....

Hold on, you mean to tell me that the IUAW got their raises even when we didnt? But this cant be!!!!! We're all in this together!! All for one and one for all!!!! Oh, thats right, thats just a line of BULLSHIT they feed us.

No way in hell should the IUAW not have the same contract that they so-called 'FIGHT' to get for us. If they had the same contract as us, I'm sure our contract would be a little better right now...say about $31 an hour better?

So, I was doing some numbers today...had we never gave up any raises...received a 3% raise every year since '06...not including any COLA...we would be making $33.34/hour arped out right now. That's almost $200/week...$10,000/year.

So I was doing some numbers today...since giving up our raises in our variant non-International Contract(3% raises, COLA,etc.)...our base pay would have been $33.34, but when you subtract the $.87 per inch of dick an hour(per average 6" dick) the IUAW inserted into our blue collared assholes...we remain at our current stagnant rate. I've had all the cock I can take...and I can't takes no more! I'm ready to give back, but not anything monetary.

Metalman, I may be mistaken, but I think our local leadership did just that on the last concessions ford and international wanted us to pass. Well, all but one local uaw leader. I do have to agree that if the sign on bonus is that high, people will only see the amount instead of reading the proposed contract. And that is pitiful.
