Ford wasn't ready to argue the Grievance so they were given a 4-6 week extension....now 2+ months later and nothing.
My guess is this drags out until the contract expires and then the union tells us that it was a fight but they got most of what we gave up back when we should already have those returns now and begin to negotiate above that at contract time.
Its gonna be a snow job...wonder if we will try for a new postage stamp machine or a removal of a speed bump in the local...as we have in the past?

Since the IUAW doesn't even share a contract with us, what do they care? They lost nothing, gained everything, and are living higher than a hog...while we continue to give back...all the while ridding our nation of the middle class worker.

JUST VOTE NO. With all the bull that comes out there mouth ( and I am talking about both sides) they have themselves that they want to take care of. This was proven when they said "that we need to give the right to strike up". WTF!!!!!! The IUAW is not looking out for us anymore so we just send the message to them that we are not in the helping mood and we want things back. No more helping, time to be greedy because that is all they know. So we will follow by their example and expect the same things for us. Keep voiceing your concerns and when the IUAW comes down to explain the contract, that is when you tell them that we are done helping the company and we want our's. We can just vote NO until we get what we think is a fair contract. Kind of hard for them to really fight about things when they are giving all their people big bonus dollars. Just my 2 cents.

The relevant info was provided by me months ago.
We ain't gettin' shit.
And there is nothing we can do about it.
A giant cloud of smoke was blown up our ass and the parties responsilbe think its funny......
Now we should ALL know where we stand, but I'd bet we don't.

I heard this from a guy I trust, but won't name because I'm not sure if he'd want me to.
Evidently we'll get some info really soon.
And the info is that Ford didn't provide all the information they were supposed to, got mad, and walked out........

Ford will not and has not disclosed all of their financial info and did indeed walk out of meeting. But what I don't understand is I thought this was in the hands of a arbitrator/mediator...how can they tell them no?

All I know is time is running out and it's getting close to contract...Get this shit taken care of. I'm fed up with the Company getting what they want. Did the I.U.A.W take any cuts like us? I would have to take a guess and say NO.

If you are asking...no. They are under an entirely different contract than we are...didn't give up holidays, raises, COLA, or any of the shit we lost. I would be comfortable with their contract; just don't understand why they expect us to accept something different.

I've been hearing to settle the grievance that we are going to get a hat to match our jackets and, also, will get to shake the plant manager's hand. You only get to shake his hand, though, if you are on day shift..
