Thanks for reposting here, Scott. We have been waiting sooo long for any positive news; I hope everyone--production folks and us trades, too---find a good home!

LAPers leaving creates a need for hires. They will have to do a job posting.

They have removed the senoirity lists from the Labor Relations web page. Shouldn't a senoirity list be open and available to all?

Guess someone got pissed about everyone sharing it? More typical bs from a plant which creates their own rules as the go.

There are seniority lists posted on the UAW/862 website, but I don't know how up to date they are.

Almost 300 signed up to go to LAP...already short people in many areas...even if they get rid of 100 jobs...they still need people.

and don't forget there could be an early out offer in this contract as a way to get all the 2nd tier workers on rolls.

In my opinion buyouts will be offered every contract year because it benefits the company to get the $14 hr worker in with less benefits and get the $28 hr worker out...I see this coming every contract so getting alot of workers in the wings ready to come in makes sense.

A small group late 80's. Most 92 - 97, another small group 98 thru early 2000's. I think almost all signed for LAP.
