u trim production workers were asked to pre flip but the u trim fork lift drivers werent allowed to.......today production was short people so some of the forklift drivers were declassified to cover production.......wouldnt it make alot more since to make sure production is covered with people in that classification without going thru the hassle of bumping people with senority......talk about one big mess

Just remember they can't keep us here...if you wanna leave, go to medical or labor and sign yourself out. If they ask why, say 'It's personal, none of your business.' Then call your union rep and tell them you're going nuts and need help...and enjoy your paid vacation while on mental leave.

Seniority Means Nothing, I mean Nothing at KTP. All you need to get ahead is a good pair of lips and the bosses ear.

Way to go Gary. That's the spirit. Because you didn't want to work hard for one day out of the year you decided to cross thread a few things to get out of work. Jeopardize a bad truck getting to the customer so we all will be out of a job. That might be the mentality of some people but i like to think of those people as pieces of shit.

Way to go Gary! thirtyandout seems to be confused between pieces of shit and suckasses. Gary is just standing up for himself

amazing how things on here go from a simple comment against a stupid move by management to calling some one names.......first off you sound as if someone said gary purposely was crossthreading something......how can you expect someone to do a quality job on something they havent done in several years.......secondly lets take someone from production and throw them on a forklift feeding the lines and see how good they do in an hours worth of training....and third and most of all i dont think at that particular time gary cares what kind of name you call him......production flips people out and then declassifies people from jobs to cover production and you think these people are going to be happy and produce quality products when they havent been on the line in quite some time???oh and buckeye nobodies going for team leader of the year......mainly because they dont award good parking spaces for it lol

I"m sure he was doing half a job meaning he was doing half the work of a regular line worker. Not real hard to shoot a bolt or two. It's not rocket science. If he can drive a forklift he can shoot a bolt. I'm sure when he was hired in he worked the line so he knows whats it"s all about unless he hired in with a silver spoon in his mouth or his last name is Abell.

u are missing the point thirtyandout this is how you stand up for yourself.its the princable not that he couldnt work hard for 1 day.when u get a bid job ,take 50 cent pay cut ,then they put you on line after they flip 60 people lets see how you take it??? if your good with it, then IGNIKKO is right ...your just a suckass. chill G just kidding with the teamleader stuff,u doing fine job and i will talk to scott about a new spot to park

Dont mean to butt in here but...why would a fork driver be taking a 50 cent cut in pay, your pay normally goes up on a bid job.

not at KTP...because of the team concept, assemblers that know more than say 14 jobs make more than anyone except team leaders. Assemblers at ktp have always made more hourly than at lap. I took a pay cut as a body shop fitter and a pay cut as an inspector.

ITS NOT MYJOB,why say another brother or sister doesnt work hard??? why talk shit about a higher seniority job?? are you management or do you work for the local paper ? Is stock a physical job? NO. but its fast pace with every mistake resulting in a R.W. Stock is not physical (that we are 50 cents less anhour then you) but we all work hard at ktp. to bash another worker for the job he or she has is b.s. try to show some unity and solidarity, this is what makes a union strong...people like you tear it apart.
