SUBJECT: Bidding Process for the Tooling Tryout Phase of C-520(Ford Escape) Launch.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the need to bid the jobs necessary to start the Tooling Tryout (TT) build phase scheduled for this September. It is important that the individuals on these jobs are on them through the entirety of the launch. Accepted bidders may be recalled to LAP out of line of seniority to support TT builds and additional builds as necessary. When not performing build responsibilities, accepted bidders are currently planned to be placed on TLO.
Accepted bidders will be required to remain on their jobs for at least 90 days after the achievement of the final area line rate. Employees that wish to bid on more than one job should indicate the order of preference for the jobs they are bidding on.
The bid process will be open on Monday 7/11/11 at 6:30AM and will close on Monday 7/18/2011 at 12:00PM. TLO and RTBU employees can bid using the electronic bid system at the following web address www.louisville.ford.com from an in plant computer or file a paper bid in labor relations. Employees on ILO are not eligible to use the bid system due to their inactive status and must submit a paper bid within the labor relations office. The LAP Labor Relations office hours are 6:30AM-3:30PM Monday -Friday. All bids must be received by 12:00PM on Monday 7/18/2011.

• The site is only accessible from an in plant Ford computer.
• Select “Job Bid” under “Employee Links” header
