Would current employees at K.T.P. that have this plant as their basic unit fall under step 2 of the placement hierarchy?

I am told that my seniority date will be 2007, any help will be appreciated, thanks If you are hired into the plant as a trades worker, and have never worked the line then NO, you would not have any rights to go to another plant for production. If you were hired as a production line worker, then pulled into the trades and got laid off from trades then you would exercise your seniority back to the line. As for KTP going to LAP. From my understanding we are on the bottom of the pecking order to go to LAP by the contract. Yes, we do have the right to sign up and if given the opportunity then we could go if it gets to your name by seniority. The contract Vol 1 starting on page 210 goes through the steps and the big thing is that KTP employees are not on a lay off status as compared to those that are. We would fall into the step 5 of the hierarchy of this process.
