www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/05/autos-uaw-idUSN1E7630W020110705?feedType=RSS&feedName=companyNews&rpc=43If you read Kings answer to a question about raises or creating jobs it might make you sick to know this guy is our leader. "The cerebral King and his lieutenants at UAW have said that given the choice between higher wages and securing and creating jobs, they would take the jobs." Good thing you don`t have the final say on the contract King. A lot of good it would be to have more low income jobs to pay useless union dues so you (KING&FRIENDS) can get an even bigger pay raise while the rest of us keep going backwards in standard of living. Thanks for looking out for yourself King!!!

Those arent useless union dues, they help pay for Bob and all his toadies raises. For those of you that are new here, raises are pay increases that we used to get before 2005. They were contractual, but the IUAW didnt think we were worth said raises. Because if they did, they would have fought for them to honor the contract. But, they still got their raises. I hope like hell that people on the floor have finally wised up to the scheme that is being played out at our expense.
If all concessions are not returned and raises put in the contract it is a big fat HELL NO from me. Keep your sign on bonus. Only the meth/pill heads like the bonus.

the union should insist that executive's pay is in line with foreign company's executive pay

the guys up north are way out of touch with the workers. and after the stunt they tried to pull with the last concessions vote, many of us don't even trust them anymore.

the union should insist that executive's pay is in line with foreign company's executive pay Amen. The company wants to get our wages in line with the competitors but they don't want to do it with their wages. I blame Bill Ford for this. He needs to renegotiate Mulally's contract just like he does our.

I can't believe people are surprised by this article. if you have been keeping up with the news, you would know that Ford doesn't want to give pay raises this contract. It's been in the news for the past couple of months. I want all of my concessions back to. At the same time i'm not expecting a great contract either.

If we don't get the concesssions back or at least half of them. Pay raise's to start to bring us up to 2011 level and not 2005, I see a decertification vote forthcoming. We need to send Old Fart King a very strong message, IF YOU CAN'T WORK FOR US WE DON'T NEED YOU OR THE IUAW...................

I predict a massive turnout for this contract to vote no even larger than the masses that voted down the last COA.

Amazing. Everyone has their minds made up on how they are voting before we even know what will be in the proposed contract. We will NOT see any pay raises this contract, period. I voted no on all 3 concession votes in the past but there were way too many cowards out there voting yes so that is why we are where we are today. I didnt see anyone holding a gun to voters heads. I am expecting concessions to be returned and a hefty sign on bonus or they will be getting my no vote AGAIN.

I agree 100%, but we need to be prepared to create or find another group that will represent the needs of workers not corporate interests.
