And you are already sitting home getting paid. You get 3 to 5 days depending on travel to deal with your business. It's there to give you the time off work with pay, but that is already the case since you are on vacation. You get paid once, not twice. I should say, 3 to 5 days, only 3 are paid.

And you are already sitting home getting paid. You get 3 to 5 days depending on travel to deal with your business. It's there to give you the time off work with pay, but that is already the case since you are on vacation. You get paid once, not twice. I should say, 3 to 5 days, only 3 are paid. First let me say sorry for your losses. Now, you are not only rude but wrong. If the members loss was a member of his family that qualified he would get 3 days extra personal time. He would have to bring the paper work from the funeral home to labor relations. They would take care of it. In essence, what you are saying is since he had a loss in his family and he is on vacation he is getting bereavement pay. Well, you and I and everyone else at Ford that's on vacation is getting bereavement pay for his loss. Here's another fact. Depending on the family member he or anyone of us would get 5 days paid. I'm not going thru them you can look them up. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

I too am sorry to hear of your loss! I think you only get 5 days for a parent or spouse. 3 days for other family members. To find out for sure contact the hall. If no one answers private message me here and I can give you some phone numbers and try to help you out. Again, I am sorry to hear of you loss!!

And I also am sorry for your loss. Your Mother, Father, Wife and Children you get 5 days everyone else 3 days. Additional Excussed Absence is what they would get when they come back from Vacation. So say if your wife passed while you were on Vacation when you come back off of Vacation you will get an additional 5 paid days, with the proper documentation and three days for other that your immediate family.
