This is going to be just great. Its all free and wont cost anybody a dime. HBO is making it LAW that insurance companys must now pay for free birthcontrol and other heathcare for women at a cost of billions a year to them. There is no co pay and no deductibles. I really do wish this man was not alive. He is doing so much Harm to this country. He is making Bush look like fiscal conservative!

Condoms cost 3 bucks at Walmart. But taxpayers ultimately get to pay for peoples irresponsibility and laziness.

That's all this country needs is another mandate from the federal government. Meanwhile the American taxpayers are stuck with the bill.

If McCain would have been elected would things have been any different? It would just be a different bill (maybe even more costly) the middle and lower class would still be paying.

Obamacare is the reason the company I currently work for ( on ILO) is moving to Canada in 2012.

If this targeted the poorest that have trouble supporting their kids without government aid it would probably make financial sense. Provide them the means to prevent pregnancy and keep from adding 18 years of welfare, medicare costs for each one prevented. It would also help alleviate the abortion issue.
Of course this is the American political system and this will do nothing but fuel the conservative argument that we have too much government and spending needs to be cut. Speaking of republicans, how the hell did this get passed with them in the majority.

Actually this is only for those with health care coverage. Whether employer based or for those who actually have to pay for their coverage. Fact is, cost will result in higher premiums to employers and those paying out of pocket. This may seem free, but even those who will benefit will ultimately be paying higher premiums. What this means for us is a higher deductable. Those welfare folks out there, already have some coverage covered under this bill. Love em or hate em, this is just more Democrat feel good bullshit. Democrats are like a parent who spoils a child rotten. It just makes them feel good to give and give, meanwhile making Americans dependant and worthless.

Let me rephrase. With republicans able to block legislation with their caucus, how did this make it through?
