U.S. politics is bought and paid for by large industries. This is a big part of what is wrong with this nation.

The only positive aspect from our elections is the millions that will be pumped into the system from trying to influence voters. It is issues like this that make me think this is a joke of a democracy.

The recent ruling by the Supreme Court concerning campaign finances was a serious blow to the middle class in my opinion. Though it was seen as fundamentally correct concerning the right to donate and advertise, it will have a devastating effect long term to the common worker whom The President and Congress are suppose to represent.
