Has LAP heard anything about numbers needed for 3RD shift trades?Has money been secured from up north for positions?

Lap has 3 shift's of trades now. You must mean the 4th crew for maintenance. Local is fighting adding this 4th crew. They want to keep it traditional 5 day a week with forcing OT on weekends. Going to be a lot of pissed off trades if they get there way. A lot of trades were told that LAP would add this 4th crew. Trades signed for production expecting to go back to tools when it happened.

At Twin Cities Assembly in Minnesota we were not told that they were going to ad a 4th maintenance shift to cover the C crew but those of us who signed up to transfer as production are hoping they do.

Was hearing around 70 trades would be added if 4th crew is a go. That is a lot of trades to get back to there tools.

Who knows what Ford is going to do.. Save $$ is for sure the program.. You might have to Lay In There and Get It... Just saying, being real.... I hope you know what I'm talking about.....
