Turn off the teleprompter and listen to what he really has to say non-scripted. Its simply pandering to a base for campaign funds.
Someone should thank him for helping our competition and putting all Ford workers at a competitive disadvantage all on our tax dollars AND union dues.
I did not vote for him the last time and will not this time either.

I am no fan of big government either, but if GM and chrysler had been liquidated with no government intervention, then all the suppliers would have went under as well. That would have meant the suppliers for ford would also went out of business and Ford would have followed.People may not agree with all the details that followed, but all autoworkers were saved by this government intervention, not just GM and Chrysler workers.

Maybe / maybe not and no one really knows for sure. (I think not but that's my opinion). The fact still stands with the large amount of funds doled out to our competitors it has made it more difficult for Ford. Stimulus, TARP money and tax abatement's did nothing to help Ford and for Obama to take credit for "saving" the auto industry and having Ford / UAW people applaud it is pretty disgusting.
