I am just wondering from those already on an AWS, how has this effected your making it to church services on a regular basis? I cannot understand how the company can just change our schedule and keep those of us who attend services regularly from continuing to do so. I know of several here at KTP that are greatly concerned with the AWS looming over us, and still trying to be an active member of the church we are a part of. Honest answers and discussion would be appreciated. Thanks!

It will depend on how your AWS is structured. We work 7-7 here at LAP (2 daylight crews, 2 overnight crews) and the AWS gives each crew every other weekend off. If you're on the overnight crew, you can probably attend weekend services as you normally do and it will only cost you some sleep. If you're on the daylight crew, you will be limited to attending every other weekend. If your church offers weeknight services and they are not too early, that may be an option for you.
