Maybe the division is starting to get to deep........ it started a long time ago. people want to be free, they want to be free to succeed or fail on their own. gov't has way too much control over our daily lives, and it grows every day. it would be interesting, if we just split the country in half. let the left govern one side, let the right govern the other. |

Gas, food, insurance : all higher Personal income : down Unemployment is still higher than when he started. I`m tired of people saying republicans are racists. Every day at work I hear people saying racists things and these people are democrats and voted for Obama. These people are hypocrites at their best. Even Obama bought in to the system of oppressing the poor and minorities in America. The last tax breaks the middle class got came from a Republican president. Even better from 1970 to today only republican presidents have given the middle class tax breaks. The last democratic president that gave the middle class tax breaks was JFK. Obama just wants to extending tax breaks given to us by Bush. So what if the republican presidents wants to give the wealthy tax breaks as well. Its called being fair not racism. And it has always help create more and higher paying jobs. Free handouts from a government can only last if you tax the middle class more. Even if you took every dollar the rich had and made them poor you would still have to raise taxes on the middle class to pay down the debit Obama has created over the past 4 years. You can blame it on Bush if you want but the numbers don`t lie. In 4 years Obama has over spent more then Bush,Clinton,Bush and Reagan all together. That`s 1980 thru 2008. No other president has ever spent more. |

Smaller Government means less taxes. I used to work for the Gov.(U.S. Army Vet) My wife works for the Gov. (schools) as well as my dad (postal Ret & schools),brother & his wife (schools) , my son (Navy Vet)and son in-law (Navy Vet). We all voted for Republican. All of them got raise when most non-Gov jobs did not or took cuts. We all believe the military should be the only ones not cut but the schools do nothing but waste money. And don't even get me started on the EPA or IRS
