Just wondering how many UAW paying members consider themselves republicans?Everyone assumes that we are all democrats..Thank god that's not the case.

I'm registered as a Republican, however I have voted for a Democrate before, mostly in local elections. I vote for the person who I believe will represent my views and stands for the things I believe in. That is usually always a Republican, though I'm not opposed to voting Democrate I have never felt I could support the ones who run for federal offices.

I was once a registered democrap, but then I opened my eyes and seen that they have gotten us nowhere in the past 50 years and are at fault for creating a big welfare state. Republicans aren't so innocent either but they do know more about the US Constitution and what it stands for.

Republicans aren't so innocent either but they do know more about the US Constitution and what it stands for. Except on issues like gay marriage. Not that I'm exactly liberal, but with so many Republicans wanting to turn this country into a religious state I have a hard time backing them.

Hope you watched, "John Adams" on HBO yesterday. Shows how difficult it was to get this country on it's feet.

Yet, you treat it like you're "owed" something!
