Bottom line...drive what you want, but don't bitch at the rules the company that you work for enforces...you understand the rules so if you choose to park at Gate 0 that's your choice or you could do like the rest and get a fake handicap parking sticker and then park your BMW at the gate and sprint in from you handicap parking space in the morning when you are running late.

Wow back at you again. If I have to explain to you that buying the product of the company that gives you a paycheck is the right thing to do, then just forget it. No, you do not owe them anything but the time you get paid for, if you want to get technical. But when you buy a Ford owned vehicle, you know that goes into our profit sharing right? When you buy any other non Ford vehicle, you put money in that company's pocket. It's funny that everyone on here seems to be okay with all the non Fords everyone drives. Even the new hires around me get pi$$ed when they see people pull up in non Ford's. I can tell by your second sentence that you are a die hard liberal, so this may come as a shock. Ford doesn't GIVE you a paycheck. You EARN it. Therefore, it becomes YOUR money. And being that, at least for the time being, we still live in a free country, everyone is free to use THEIR money as they please. Contrary to your belief, I'm actually not a liberal. Most of my positions lean towards conservative but anyways...yes, of course you can do what you want with your money. All I'm saying is you should support your employer. And you are free to buy whatever vehicle you choose with your money but don't bitch when Ford tells you that you have to park at Gate 0. That will always be the rule on parking so get used to it or get a Ford. |

Consequences are on them, wow, your such a compassionate person. Well what about the innoncent man, woman, or child that could also be in that accident? Imagine for one second in your perfect world that God forbid, your parents, brothers/sisters, or kids are also on Chamberlain lane when that car stops to drop someone off and causes a huge accident that they are in. This will eventually happen, was an accident out in front of gate 6 just this morning, hopefully the rule is changed before it does but like most things it usually takes an "i told you so" moment to get them changed. I'm pretty sure that stopping in the middle of the street to drop someone off is already illegal, so what's your next theory? You just don't like the fact that you or anyone else not driving a Ford has to follow the rules so you will fight with me on this until we both pass out so let's just agree to disagree. You just don't like the fact that you or anyone else not driving a Ford has to follow the rules so you will fight with me on this until we both pass out so let's just agree to disagree. "Fake" handicap sticker? I've seen a lot of bashing about people with handicap stickers...I just hope when your day comes and you have to have one that you will have a different mindset! Not all disabilities are able to be seen! I don't look like there is anything wrong with me but I wouldn't wish my disability on my worst enemy. Think before you run your mouth!

Number one if someone gives you a non ford car that's awesome!!! Hell I would take one.I love some of the new rice burners.I just wouldn't DRIVE IT TO MY JOB AT FORD.And as far as being a burden on a new hire they can drive whatever they want and I'm behind them 100% Just park it in the PROPER LOT ..Then there will be no consequences..Period!

I could care less what people drive in to the plant...the car did not get here by itself...meaning they are here at work instead of someone who owns five fords and never shows up for work...I have said this for years and continue to say the same...As for someone dieing being hit by a oncoming vehicle while unloading someone at zero...and this being a joke....damn Merry Christmas to you too...While not being a bible thumper 2000 years ago someone was turned away for no room in the inn....Nowadays well Joseph and Mary we would let you stay but isn't that a foreign camel you drove up here on? Sorry no stay for you....just saying.....Since this will probably be my final rant of the year.. Merry Christmas to all be safe (no matter what you drive) and see you back here in hell next year

I despise any Mexican made ford. I hate to see a ford employee buy any high priced foreign car.
Regardless of what I like, or how I feel someone should spend their hard earned money, I know that ford has no right to discriminate against any employee

I'm afraid not, 51 yrs old "CAD, PAD" and before you judge my lifestyle...I was told I inherited it from my parents. Just sick of people judging because some disabled don't "look" disabled is all. I don't like foreign cars myself but it's their time wasted walking if they choose to do so. Somebody needs to monitor the stickers and do their job! |
