Well all I can say is for the ones so worried about what a MF is driving you must be a medical piece of shit walking around not doing a dam thing cause the ones that bust there ass on the line everyday earn every bit of there money and we are really under paid, FORD and UAW don't give a shit about any of us, there is no loyalty, so why give it back, buy what the fuck you want it's your money, and instead of the dumb asses worried about what the next person is driving take your lazy asses to the polls and vote for the right decision on the next contract instead of jump at bonus money they owe us anyway probably living check to check and need quick money, start saving so we can strike these bastards

Like the fuckin rules state.I only worry about me and my family and if you think buying a foreign car somehow helps you financially go for it.At least when we buy Fords it increases our profits.Its all about rules!!!Follow or pay the price????20 years never voted yes for ANYTHING here so I vote every election or contract .As far as money I'm set I have 2 small businesses and I'm ready for a strike.Trust me if WE ARE SMART THIS CONTRACT SHOULD BE OURS!!!All the money they poured in this place I guarantee they don't want it to sit idle..

OH HELL, now I gotta weigh in here. Rules are rules for one and all, if you don't follow rules then you get what you get end of story. I personally want to buy a non ord product myself but I don't want to walk an mile or two to my job on the line and then walk hat distance back to my ride at the end of the shift. Why anyone would do that is beyond me. If Ford ever tries to make black folk start parking at a certain gate then that is Dicrimination, parking a non ford at gate zero is not. You want to stop on Chamberlain to let someone off and pick someone up then you will face legal cost beyond your wildest dreams if you cause someone to lose their life because you don't want to follow the rules.
As for the Bargaining Commitee and Building Chair, I think it is somethinf they have worked out with the company. They are parking in gate two and not inside the fence, so that is fine with me. It is no different than when they had special parking for certain management personal in the regular lots. At gate six, most of those non ford product's belong to the security staff and not ford employee's, some of thm do belong to us.
Now for the final one, I could care less how many damned plants you have been at, this policy/rule is a company wide policy and ALL Ford plant's have this rule in place. This is not localised just to KTP or LAP but to all plant's. So move again and you will be surprised to see it there too. The last time I checked, Ford can make any rule they want and the Union can argue it but if the company has it in their head to do it the union can't stop it. Trust me there are plenty of rules of certain people who work there have to abide by while ohers don't have too. Don't believe me, then look at stock. Fork drivers have to wear those safety vest and seatbelt's but other's do not. As for medicals, there are quite a few that abuse the system but until the company and the union can come to an agreement on this, they will continue to do so. It just makes it harder for those that do get seriously hurt to get anything done.

I came from another Ford plant and it was negotiated that any UAW american made or Ford owned non Ford vehicle could park anywhere. The foreign vehicles had there place in the lot furthest from the main entrances. This was strictly enforced and worked well because as I recall there were not a lot of foreign vehicles. |

Fuck it! I'm gonna buy a Honda motorcycle (direct competitor of FoMoCo BTW) and park it right next to the gate in its reserved spot. If my Ford breaks down and my neighbor loans me his Honda car I have to park at gate zero cause it has 4 wheels instead of two. That's the most moronic thing I've ever heard in my life. I've had several people (who don't work for Ford) ask me if its true that employees that don't drive a Ford product have to park in a separate lot. It makes the UAW and Ford look petty honestly. Like the vehicles don't stand on their own merit, we have to be forced to drive them. I drive a Ford to work everyday and I feel that for the money it's as good as any car out there. That being said I inherited a Chevy truck from my dad when he passed away and I'm sure if I drove it in here some asshat would give me shit about I should trade it in on a new $1,000/mo Ford truck because it benefits his profit sharing by $.02. My point is: we ain't had a raise since two presidents ago, most of us can't afford a new car much less a truck. How does it help Ford's bottom line when someone buys a used Ford? If you're buying new I get that, but used? Or if you're driving a loaner etc??
