PRODUCTION OVERTIME: As of this writing, B-Crew is scheduled for 10 hours on
Saturday 1/24 with a 6pm start. No other dates are scheduled at this moment.
Please remember this is tentative until you have been notified by the company
about the actual day’s production.

C-CREW 6 a.m. START: C-Crew will have a 6am start on Sunday 1/18. C-Crew will

LEADERSHIP ELECTIONS: Nominations were held during Union the meeting on 1/13 at
the LAP Union Hall for Vice President, Trustee, and KTP Region 8 Skilled Trades
Delegate. Polls open at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 and the polls will
close at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015.
DROTS and PAY: Please remember to check your DROT daily and check your pay stubs
stubs on a weekly basis. Your DROT should be hung in an agreed upon area within
your team or by the Supervisor’s desk. You can access your pay stubs via the
internet at www.at.ford.com Please DO NOT assume that your time is being put
in correctly. Please double check and ensure that you are earning a fair
day’s pay for a fair day’s work.
UAW LOCAL 862 POOL TOURNAMENT: This event will be held January 19, 2015 at
Diamond Pub & Billiards. Sign-ups will be 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm with tables to be
open from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm for practice. Entry Fee is $10 and a Green Fee of
$5. You must be a UAW Local 862 Member. For more information contact Sam Skipper

STATUS OF THE UNIFORM ALLOWANCE: The Arrow website is now online and working
properly. You can place your orders on the Arrow website at

Louisville Assembly Uniform Program” tab. It takes you to the exclusive LAP
employee site. For any and all questions and or concerns, please contact Arrow

UAW LOCAL 862 VALENTINE’S DANCE: This event will be held Saturday, February
14th from 9:00pm – 1:00am at the LAP Union Hall located at 3000 Fern Valley
Road. The cost is $20 per person, which will include free beer, free setups,
BYOB. It is open to the public and the doors will open at 8:00pm. The Lyndsey
Henken Band will be performing. This is a fundraiser for the UAW “40 & Over”
Softball Team. Reserve your table now. For tickets call Ed Blevins at 594-1116,
Mike Goodlett (295-6023) Terry Ayers (376-6977), or Scott Smith (777-6216).
ANOTHER DISCOUNT FOR COMEDY: UAW members at LAP and KTP can again get a
special discount to a night of comedy and laughter at the Laughing Derby
(formerly the Comedy Caravan). Once again the show will include comics that have
appeared on national TV networks including HBO, Show Time, BET, and Comedy
Central. This month’s show will be held Sunday February 8th and monthly
thereafter. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. The cost of
the tickets are normally $15 in advance or $20 at the door, but advance sale
tickets can be purchased by LAP and KTP employees for a discount rate of 2 for
$25 (DISCOUNT DOES NOT APPLY ON DATE OF SHOW). For more info or to purchase

UAW 862 BOWLING CLASSIC benefitting Junior Achievement: This event will be held
Saturday February 28, 2015 starting at 6:00pm at the Fern Valley Strike and
Spare at 6220 Shepherdsville Rd. Individual Registration is $50 per person, fill
a lane with 5 bowlers for $200, 9-pin no-tap league style. Registration and
event information can be obtained by visiting 2015uaw862bowl.kintera.org. Junior
Achievement provides young people the knowledge and skills they need to own
their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and
economic choices. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what
they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world-enhancing the
relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the
value of staying in school. Over 60,000 students served annually with the
programs.
