14th from 9:00pm – 1:00am at the LAP Union Hall located at 3000 Fern Valley
Road. The cost is $20 per person, which will include free beer, free setups,
BYOB. It is open to the public and the doors will open at 8:00pm. The Lyndsey
Henken Band will be performing. This is a fundraiser for the UAW “40 & Over”

OWEN C HAMMONDS SCHOLARSHIP: 2015 Owen C. Hammons Scholarship - UAW Local 862
initiated the Owen C. Hammons Scholarship Fund in 1988. Annually, Local 862
awards three, $2,000.00 scholarships to the sons, daughters, stepsons, or
stepdaughters of UAW Local 862 members. Applicants must be a high school senior
and must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college or university, community
college, technical or trade school at the time the award is issued. Awards
must be used for the 2015-2016 school year. To obtain application requirements,
and/or an application, contact the Financial Secretary, Scott Edwards, at the

UAW V-CAP Director’s Club Award: Communication is currently being mailed to
each eligible member participating in the VCAP Director’s Club Program
regarding how to go about picking up your VCAP apparel. If you have any

UAW 862 BOWLING CLASSIC BENEFITTING JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT: This event will be held
Saturday February 28, 2015 starting at 6:00pm at the Fern Valley Strike and
Spare at 6220 Shepherdsville Rd. Individual Registration is $50 per person, fill
a lane with 5 bowlers for $200, 9-pin no-tap league style. Registration and
event information can be obtained by visiting 2015uaw862bowl.kintera.org. Junior
Achievement provides young people the knowledge and skills they need to own
their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and
economic choices. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what
they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world-enhancing the
relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the
value of staying in school. Over 60,000 students served annually with the
programs.

STEP 2: On the “Landing Page” click the top of the two links, which will
take you to the voucher login page, entitled, ”Ford Louisville Assembly
Uniform Voucher Program”.
STEP 3: Once you’re on the “Login Page”, you’ll need to enter your full
“Global ID” including the zeros @fordlouisville as your LOGIN. There are 9
digits in your Global ID. example, 000123456@fordlouisville. Your password is
your last four digits of your SS#.
STEP 4: Once you login you’ll see the homepage, you can click on the category
you want to shop.
STEP 5: After selecting a category you’ll need to select a Style
STEP 6: After you select a style you need to select a color and size, then click
on one of the embroidery options for the garment. All shirts will come with the
left chest logo, most garments will be embroidered, t-shirts gets screened.
STEP 7: Add to cart. Once you put the item in your cart you can repeat steps 4
to 7 by continue shopping, or you can check out at that point.
STEP 8: Once you check out, you’ll have to complete the “Ship To”
Information. You can ship the product directly to your home, please make sure
