16TH ANNUAL JDRF GOLF SCRAMBLE – This event will take place at Fuzzy Zoeller’s Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, IN on Sunday June 14, 2015. Cost is $200 ($100 is tax deductible) per person which includes golf, lunch and gift. Sign-ups begin April 14, 2015 and you can print a registration out from fordktpcares.com. The field is limited to the first 288 paid entries. All proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
MAYOR’S GIVE A DAY WEEK OF SERVICE – April 18-26, 2015 is Mayor Fischer’s Give a Day Week. Whether you give an hour, a day, donate blood, give food, clothing or simply help a neighbor, everyone can do something! For information on how to volunteer or projects available visit mygiveaday.com.
KINGS ISLAND TICKETS – It’s that time of year when discount tickets will be available for our members to purchase during our upcoming Membership Meetings. Tickets will be sold on the following dates from 11:00am until after the evening Membership Meeting is over; MAY 5th 2015 at KTP Union Hall and JUNE 9th 2015 at LAP Union Hall. Summer 2015 Tickets will be $27 (regular admission is $62) and are good July 1-31. Parking $9. Cash or credit only, no personal checks.

THE KENTUCKY BLOOD CENTER – The center will be meeting with the membership on April 14th at both membership meetings at the LAP Union Hall to make everyone aware of the Local 862 1st Annual Kentucky Blood Center’s Mobile Unit Blood Drive on May 5th at the membership meeting at the KTP Union Hall. This blood will stay in the state of Kentucky! The blood drive will start in the morning on the 5th at the KTP union hall and will go through both union meetings.

KTP CARES STORE IS OPEN - It is located in the 1st Floor Administration Building next to the FPS Training Room. Items for sale are Ford / KTP / UAW hats, shirts, tumblers, mugs, jackets, pull-overs, t-Shirts, and much more! It is open every day during the week. Hours are Mon. 6a-2:30p, Tues. 11a-7:30p, Wed. 11a-7:30p, Thurs. 6a-2p, Fri. 6a-2:30p. We Accept Cash, Check, or Visa/MasterCard over $100 purchase. All Proceeds go to the KTP Cares Charity – (March of Dimes and JDRF).
