There are exhaust fans in the ceiling but most of them are either broken or locked out.

The red and green buttons for all exhaust fans are on poles and marked with a sign so that they can be easily identified so that you, the employee, can turn them on. You should already be familiar with their locations in your area. If they are broke, be a monkey on their back until it is fixed.
I think one thing that hurts this plant is that almost the entire north side of the building is enclosed with bathrooms, cafeterias, e-coat, etc, and there is no way for air to get inside the building. I would expect to see a few of those huge fans mounted up high on the side of the wall so as to move a little air around, but of course not from Ford Motor Co.
If you have any suggestions for additional air flow, I strongly suggest that you turn them in for the next local agreement. I have never seen this issue addressed. I was told years ago by an employee who transferred from KTP that that plant was cooler than ours.
