I am planning on going to this meeting, just one question. Does the union supply the cups for the kool aid or do I need to bring my own. Hoping some of the good ole boys on here might know.

I might go just to see if this rumor is true. I would love to see this assclown in person. If rumor of this is true, I'm sure its to scare the sheep to vote "YES" on the contract.

I hope he is. I emailed the questions that I will be asking at the meeting. That way, they should be prepared to have an answer. I would love to ask him myself.

I was at the meeting, albeit 15 minutes late. I saw no Evil nor heard no Evil. Well, I saw and heard plenty of Evil, just not Jimmy Slick, the (D)Evil himself. I have a legitimate question. At the meeting, as they were running through the Minutes, I overheard something about 15 or so employees from LAP requesting transfer to KTP. Can someone shed some light on this? I mean, is it possible to transfer from LAP to KTP and vice versa? If so, how does one go about this? I've just always heard that employees can't, via fellow Union Brothers and Sisters through what they've heard and also from our, uuummmm, Great (Yeah, we'll go with that) Local 862 Committee (Wo)Men.

In volume 1, appendix O changed last contract. If someone transfers inside the local, the lose the seniority at the prior plant for bidding purposes. Hardly worth it.

Our contract seems to have been written by the dumbest forms of human life to ever be put on this earth.

To bad that wasn't the case when all us 1995 guys got fucked by our bros that transferred from lap last time... That was the reason Appendix O was changed. You hit the nail on the head. Scott Eskridge put in protections for his membership. Before that point, the situation inside our local was unheard of.
