12th Annual Fellowship Dinner – The UAW Local 862 Joint Chaplaincy Committee is hosting this event on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Ron Gettelfinger Hall at 3000 Fern Valley Rd. The theme of the dinner is “Forgiveness in the Workplace”. The Guest Speaker will be Herb Taylor, UAW International Chaplaincy Chair. You are invited to an evening of Praise and Worship. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for retirees and children 10 and under. Out of the darkness suicide prevention & awareness walk - This year’s walk is Saturday, November 7 at Waterfront Park (South Great Lawn). Visit us at the UAW/Ford Tent for registration. Check in/registration time is the same day at 8:30am. Walk begins at 10:00am and ends at 12:00pm. We are a little behind last year's totals. If there's any way you can pre-register by Friday 11/06/15 at noon please consider doing so as it makes it easier for you to check in on walk day. We are also planning on having a site where you can pick up you ODW shirts and pre-register a week or so prior to the walk. The location and date and times will be published in late message on the site below. For each $50 you contribute to the walk you will receive a commemorative "Out of the Darkness Walk" t-shirt.
