Once again, don't let a Signing Bonus make your decision of our future, our retirees and your family.

We work together we fight together. At very least this time next year I can honestly say I tried. We make UAW what it is not our bargaining committee.. show some heart and muscle an stay strong..You pay to belong so not voting is just showing money just doesn't matter to you..Use the greatest tool we have as members..get out and vote..

NO... Heres why if a new guy (( no offense to new guys)) walks in and a year later gets a $10,000 bonus.... Then shouldnt us with 10...15...20 + years get say $1000 for each year served? WTF

I will be voting NO for a few of reasons
1) It does not add more money to retirement, right now when you retire you get @$53 per year of Service and it has been that way for at leaste 20yrs not enough to retire on 2) Dont insult us by trying to say $1500 of our money is part of a signing bonus, that is ridiculous. 3) They didn't give a strike date which means they didn't fight hard enough. 4) 8 years to get to top pay, on a 4 year contract. That other 4 years is just fluff. 5) No COLA, was told by Bargening member that we will never get that back, he's right with that attitude. 6) we need raises 4 straight years not bonuses.
7) last but not least it looks like the (union does not want us to vote) look at the time of the vote 4am Tuesday to 10 pm tuesday. B CREW WILL HAVE TROUBLE GETTING TO VOTE. WE HAVE A BIG LOCAL AND THEY DON'T WANT US TO VOTE IT DOWN.

Although, maybe they do think the huffin' and puffin' crowd can't be bothered to vote without a THREE DAY window. I guess that could be possible.

In years past the vote has been on Sundays after the highlights were read. 12-9 only. Get your lazy ass up 15-20 mints early 1 time in a 4 yr period to go vote for your future. Damn, So spoiled ! No wonder the public sector hates factory workers.

I've talked to one person so far that said they were voting for this contract fwiw Most people are going to say they voted no even if they vote yes because they wont feel like arguing with people at work because that place is stressful enough without the added bullshit. Don't take that wrong. I'm not trying to attack your post, I'm just saying.

I'll bet most of them will wait until after shift to vote. Unless you have early break or stop before work(which most night shift will do along with day shift waiting until after work), only gives you 2 chances to vote. Vote is over before our lunch break!

Hey jackass it's not about being lazy explain to me how 1500 people are going to get there and vote then get to work in 15 -20 mins. It will take 2 hrs just toget that many people to find a place to park vote and leave. Common sense would dictate that the vote been held on Wednesday that way B crew could have 2 different times to vote just like you, you moron. You have to be a dumbass democrap Waa waa waa!! I can't do this I can't do that cus the mean old union won't let me!.. I bet you were on welfare or living with mommy right before you got hired at ford weren't you? Excuse after excuse why you can't do something for yourself. Get up at noon then, for once in four years, and go vote instead of being such a whiny-ass titty baby...

Put my kids on the bus at 740, got straight in my car, drove the 20 mins to the union hall and voted. Back home by 830 for a nice nap before work. See how easy it is to do something important?
