With everyone that will be retiring through Ford, there's will probably go down even more than GM. I really hope our contract does not pass. Because if we find out we passed a contract that actually puts even more money into the pockets of wall street and doesn't reward its workers I'm going to be pissed.

KTP is the most profitable plant and in 3 months there will basically be no OT cost for Ford at our plant, you havent seen profits until they run this plant with no OT.

Tell me, with the new contract the in progression workers are on a path to traditional wages over a period of eight years. So I guess we lost the 20% cap. If so that's how the labor rates per vehicle will go down in the future, more tier 2 employees.

Good point...can you imagine how the person feels that's waiting for one person to retire to reach full pay... and once contract is passed, they fall under the new 8 yr progression.

Yeah, my son is real close to making full pay. He is pissed that it will now be 4 more years before he gets to full pay. If this ends up passing.
