Just a dumb question, never done this b4 so just wondering.... I missed Fri the 13th...(awol) ... I returned Tuesday, Will i be paid for Monday?

Friday last scheduled workday before holiday maybe not, different pay period or not.

I don't think you will get holiday pay... Day before has to be worked and you can't convert the day before a holiday even if the holiday is on a Monday.

If I remember correctly last time I had an awol on a Friday before a Monday holiday I got paid for the holiday as long as I returned and went to Labor Tuesday

I awoled a Friday before labor day Monday about 5 years ago...lost holiday and ate AWOL.

If you awol the last work day before or first work day after a holiday, regardless of what week it is in, you will lose the holiday. Days before or after a holiday cannot be converted with personal time in labor so you will lose it.

You will be paid the holiday because you worked Tuesday. It is in a different pay period so your next regular scheduled work day is what qualifies you for holiday pay.
