That's why I like you Scott Let me reiterate, I have 23+ credits...notice I don't give a shit about years...it's all about credits with me...having 23+ credits at 2 plants clearly gives me a diagnosis of mental illness...I apologize for my inability to control mine as well as everyone else's comments. |

In the end it's all about the money. As in other contracts the older one's cared about themselves than the younger one's meaning what does this contract do for ME. Eight year progression for a brand new hire is a lot, but they get over a $1.50 a year and the majority of the one's that hired in 2012 will get $4.00 between now and next year. Not having a raise in 10 years, I could go with that but to completely do away with that type of progression and give them top wages I couldn't see that or vote for something like that. For the one's that were within 1200 of going to traditional I'm sorry but it's the good with the bad I guess. You're guaranteed raises every year now. In talking to a lot of tier 2's this was the only hangup they had. For us we didn't loose anything and we got somethings back but to get everything back will take time. And don't sit on this Board and say you can't live on what you make because that's bullshit. Every legacy worker makes good money, probably the best in Louisville, it's the fact that your eyes have gotten bigger than your wallet and you HAVE to have that money to get your ass out of trouble. I love it when Scott comes back to the board and stirs everyone up. He pissed a lot of people off at KTP because he stayed with his seniority and why not, they would have done the same if rolls had been reversed.
Scott started this board years ago and you have to use your on head to read between the bullshit and the truth. I've enjoyed the board and will continue to read it after I retire with my union negotiated by out which so happened to fall into my retirement plans. Why work my last year when they will pay me to sit at home?
