All OT hours are counted as compensated hours.Gee whiz folks,It's extra money for coming to work like you're supposed to. Why complain too much about free money. Enjoy the free stuff for Gods sake! Not complaining..Disappointed would be correct I think.48 hrs a week and that doesn't make the average?Oh well I will. Like blowing my 4300?

Nothing is free Well, you were already paid for those hours worked once. Now you're being paid for those hours again for doing nothing. Kinda like free money IMO.

What's the chances they got my Compensated Hours wrong. Just seems like really low hours, how do we double check this?

Remember though, its only STRAIGHT time hours.
If you worked 58 hours one week, your pay was 67 hrs. But for purposes of profit sharing, its just 58.
I added all mine up a few days ago, because I'm anal like that.

It's not free money at all. We gave up substantial raises and financial gains.

Everyone was saying all Compensated Hours but if it was just the straight time hours pay then that would seem correct for what i got paid.

Profit sharing is free money . Wow. That's ridiculous.
Your time is recorded on your paycheck different than anywhere else I've ever worked. Every hour you work is listed as a straight time hour. Then ot is listed in full hours. Each two hours of ot premium is listed as an hour of pay at your regular rate. When it is said "ot hours don't count" that's because ot hours on your check are really just ot premium pay. Each hour you work actually counts. G codes should count too. Note that your shift premium is listed in hours also. These hours at your straight time rate add up to the dollar total of shift premium owed. Hope this helps.

I added all mine up a few days ago, because I'm anal like that. Now on that week, did you actually work 58 hours? Or 67? You actually worked 58 right? It's impossible to work 58 hours before ot starts,.ot starts after 40. Think about it. you worked 58. You were paid 58 hours straight time. You were owed ot pay for 18 hours.1/2 straight time X 18 =9 hours of pay at straight time rate. 58+9= 67.see what I mean? It's the hours you worked. Your ot hours are really just your premium pay. Not an hour you worked. Sounds like you get this, but since you gave numbers, your post made a good example. A lot of folks don't understand this

A lot of folks think if they flip out they lose their ot. Which, if u work 5 10 hour days, the g code only counts for 8, which is your base schedule. That's not near enough to make me pass up a flip!!!!

I'll ask again........ How is the union cut of profit sharing calculated Ask 3 more times and I'll make up an answer. That's actually a good question since they raised our dues. All I can say is I think it used to be 2 hours pay? No idea now. Not sure if they took dues out of the 1500 check as well.

They took 21.60 out of the 1500,and 110 out of the 7300 I recieved They base it on the fact that 2.5 hrs per month equal 1.56 percent of your pay so they will take 1.56 percent of anything you get paid as a bonus. The 2.5 is just so you don't feel like you're getting too screwed. Makes it sound like its a set in stone amount instead of the percentage it really is. 1.something perecent atleast. Just wait till they decide they need more money and tax your overtime the same way! So i guess we should be grateful to them that they don't do that yet lol Crap if they read this i just gave them another sneaky idea
