UAW LOCAL 862 EASTER EGG HUNT - To all those volunteers that helped with the Easter Egg Dyeing and Hunt Thursday and Friday, thank you so much for your help!! We had our largest group of kids in recent history. There were 298 kids that received baskets of eggs and we estimate that there were 900-1000 people, including parents and grandparents, that participated. With such a large number of participants it takes a small army to set up and clean up afterwards. Due to everyone splitting up and pitching in all the areas, we had the union hall clean and ready for rentals within about an hour after the end of the hunt. Without great volunteers like you we could not have made this event so successful! Many volunteers left before we had a chance to thank them and tell them how much their help was greatly appreciated. I hope you all had a good time and enjoyed the Easter Holiday with your families! Thank you again and God Bless!! Amanda Goins, UAW Local 862 Recreation Chairperson.
