Does anybody know how long it takes for delivery if you order a F150?

Ask your dealer. They will have the most accurate idea of how fast they are receiving different vehicles after they order them.

You can get a loaded F250 for less. The new F150's seem to be loaded with issues. Just check out the F150 forums. F150 Forum

It all depends on what type of F-150 you want, cab/bed size, motor, trim level etc... there are many ways to configure that truck. I just received my F-150 from Kansas City, it took exactly six weeks from order to delivery.

Everything from bad sealer on top of roof rail lines, leaky moonroofs, doors not being aligned, trim on cowel panel not being flush in center (looks like a cheap part) dash warping, electronic failures, seats being half assed upholstered, ecoboost problems and Im sure Im forgetting a few other things. I go to Bill Collins about every two months for oil changes and I have only seen a few F150's on their lot that were good to go with no visible flaws but if you take your time and look, these things stick out. I was wanting to get another F150 but with the flaws and the over inflated price, screw that. An F250 with the 6.2 gets better mileage than my current F150 with a 4.6 so that's the route I think Im going and you get more truck for thousands less. Plus the fact that I use my truck as a truck and not just a daily driver. Log onto the Ford site for your pay stub and check out A plan pricing. The Super Duty gets a lot better A plan price too.

Thanks for the reply. Moon roofs are going to leak, don't ever get one. I rented a Fusion for a trip last week since my truck is on it's last leg, and the LR door bounced off of the striker and was visibly outboard at the top. Cheap parts are on everything we make. Electronics are always an issue, was looking at a Lariat at first but am now looking at an XLT to help cut down on so many electronics. I'm a female but even I would never buy a truck with an Ecoboost engine, that's kind of defeating the purpose of a truck. The newer F150 gets better gas mileage than our older ones. You might want to google "mpg for F250 6.2" before you buy. I went to this site: www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-250_super_duty/2015?engineconfig_id=299&bodytype_id=&submodel_id=It's a crap shoot anyway you go! Sad part is most of us take pride in the work/job that we do but are given crap to work with. CORPORATE EMPLOYEES HAVE GOT TO HAVE THEIR PAY RAISES AND BONUSES, the consumer suffers.

I thought the same thing about Eco boost.Went to Allstate guy showed me that the Eco has more HP and torque than my 5.0.But I'm like you I like a V8 in a truck.Period.

It's lower output per displacement generally leads to longer life. The new Ecoboost is unproven, and long term issues will just now begin to show up on the first models. I'll take less HP for long term reliability thank you.

I have a '15 F150 XLT and love it. I loved my old 97 F250 Powerstoke too but this new F150 is pretty sweet. I've got almost 15k trouble free miles out of my truck with the 3.5l ecoboost. I've towed 9k lbs easily and have hauled plenty of 1500-1700lbs of feed or sand in the bed. Usually the ones with problems speak up more on those forums than not.

I'm more concerned about how it's going to run with 150k miles. I buy new and put about 250k miles on a vehicle. I do know the cars/crossovers with Ecoboost that are in the 30-40k miles range are just now beginning to show issues. Carbon buildup on the backs of valves from the direct injection turbo setup with symptoms that begin with cold misfires and rough idle. At least as best I remember......... don't plan to buy one, so I didn't pay too close attention to all the details, but there is a service bulletin out by Ford to the service techs...
