INFLATION PROTECTION BONUS: The next bonus from the 2015 National Agreement will
be received on pay ending 6/12/16.
LEADERSHIP PAGE: Recently your leadership has started a Facebook page for
informational purposes only. Send a request and join the most influential page
on Facebook. Go to the search box and type in UAW862 LAP Leadership.
WEIGHT WATCHERS: Congratulations!!! Weight Watcher Weight Loss Challenge winners
for highest percentage of weight loss Sheila Mohr 1st place $50 shirt store
credit, Cindy Kohler 2nd place $25 credit and Shelly Laws-Wolf 3rd place $25
credit. Great job. Everyone remember Weight Watchers classes are held each
Monday from 5pm to 5:45 pm in the in plant Union office. Signups are going on
now just contact your ESSP Rep on your crew .
CHARITY STORE: Come to the Charity Store (located inside the main café) and
purchase merchandise that is donated straight to various charities.
UAW GRIEF SUPPORT: The UAW Grief Support group launched on Monday April 18th.
Support group will meet the 1st Monday of each month at 5pm. The next meeting
will be June 6th. If interested or for more information, please contact the ESSP
Rep on your crew: A Crew—Kevin Bush 502-364-3659, B Crew—Tina Jenkins
502-357-5911, or C Crew Jeff Hale 502-364-3687.
VACATION SHUTDOWN: Consistent with Article IX, Section 25 (b) of the Collective
Bargaining Agreement, I advised you in a letter dated January 29, 2016; that the
Louisville Assembly Plant will be taking a vacation shutdown. The shutdown
period is now confirmed for the week of July 4th, 2016. The last production day
(C-crew) will be July 3rd. A-Crew and C-crew return to work on July 11th,
2016.
FLAGS4VETS 2016 MEMORIAL DAY VIGIL: Adult and kid volunteers are needed to place
15,000 veterans’ grave flags on the Great Lawn at Waterfront Park; where Floyd
Street meet the Ohio River beginning at noon on Saturday May 28th, 2016. For
info email moore@theusflag.com or call (502)931-0374.
B- 12 SHOTS: The B-12 shots have started back up at the LAP Union Hall on
Tuesdays and Fridays at the LAP Union Hall. The program will initially offer
these treatments between the hours of 3 pm and 7 pm, but may be adjusted at a
later date. The price of the B12 shots will be $15 and the price for the B12,
Supercharge B12, and Vitamin D. All three will be 3 for $33. Other services that
can be provided are Laser Hair removal, Botox injections, just to name a few.
