Several years ago I read where Larry was going to be on the Martha Stewart show and was able to watch. After that I read up on purple martins, put out housing, and now I have martins every year. They eat flying insects which makes sitting outside more pleasant. If you handle the babies the Mother will not abandon them so seeing and handling the babies is great for kids/grandchildren.
