Wow..... Ford Motor Company Labor Relations ...
I can't believe how rude the guy at the counter was to me today.
I took in a paper from Jewish Hospital where my wife went on Thursday with Chest Pains.
My wife called the shack to let them know she was in the ER and I signed out to be with her.
The guy had the nerve to tell me that next time I should make sure that her or I should go to a more appropriate hospital that actually had letterhead or a stamp with their hospital name and address.
Jewish does NOT have either of these and the doctor filled in the address and the rest of the paper.

It's always been that way, basically it's their job to act that way because of folks who abuse the system. I know it's difficult to do at times but I don't pay any attention to them because I know before I go up there what to expect.
I show up every day, have an occasional awol and have had an occasional short term medical over the years; I don't worry about Labor Relation's manners or lack thereof.
It takes a lot for them to fire you for absenteeism. Don't worry about this incident, it would look bad for them on the news if it ever became an issue.
Remember, there are no pleasant or mannerly people in labor relations, they will not hire such a person so try not to expect such a person of that character to be sitting behind the counter. When I go in I always put on a very happy face, agree or nod with anything they say, and use impeccable manners just to piss them off! Works every time.
Hope you wife is doing well.

damn, i hope your wife is ok. unfortunately, thats just the way they are up there. dont take it personal. ive only had to go in there on a few occasions, and theyve always been rude. not sure its an excuse or not, but they have to deal with our deadbeats on a daily basis.

Believe or not they are Mary Poppins compared to what they were 15-20 years ago.

I take the opposite approach. Haha. For instance... I walk in "can I help you?" I'm leaving "we don't give passes out" I'm not asking for one. I'm telling you I'm leaving! Or... "We're giving you Tuesday the 16th off" Could we do Thursday? Tuesday really doesn't work for me!
