The website in the Labor Relations bulletin is wrong. Use the one the UI office sent in the mail. uiclaims.des.ky.gov/ebenefitHowever it says on that site you can file at 10am. I tried , all was fine til I got to the pages asking if I earned any income that week, when I said no it took me to the next page, which said I either answered yes or put the wrong date as my last day worked. I put NO and the dates are already in there for us, so this is messed up. I logged out & will try again later, hopefully they get it fixed. Any one else with the same problem or a solution? If however I am an idiot & did something wrong, please feel free to point that out as well

Ford put in the wrong last day worked date as the 16th. Online would not work for me. Did mine on the phone changing the last day worked as the 13th and it was accepted.

Are the newer folks who work in labor Ford employees or are they contracted out through a service?

Seems I recall from a long time ago that our pay period goes from M-S, unemployment weeks run Sun-Sat. However, there was always an agreement with the State/IU that if you worked OT on Sun it would not go against your UI, thus Labor was suppose to put in Sat's date as last day worked. Guess the newer folks in Labor didn't get that memo.

From Union / Attention anyone having a problem filing your unemployment claim. The problem is an issue with the state system. We have been notified anyone that has never filed a claim with the state has to generate a pin number. The state is writing it into their program today. You will be able to logon tomorrow and actually generate a pin using your last four of your social security number. This should address anyone that has never filed a claim in the state of Kentucky. This includes all transfers and new employees. If you have a problem concerning the last day worked. You can use the unemployment call in line to change your last day work. For a-crew it's the 13th. For b-crew it's the 14th. This will not delay anyone's sub checks as everyone has a waiting week for the state of Kentucky, and the company is filing electronically for SUB for everyone.
