If you didn't already know and since there were several post saying people from SUV Body were not able to roll to New body because of separate departments. This is not the case there are several people on C crew that rolled to New Body that had high seniority simply because they wanted to stay on C crew. Body shop is still one department but they are considered different teams. Not true...Unless RJ didn't know what he was talking about when I ask him?Now as anywhere in the plant ,If you are an ass kisser you get what you want

Paint is also a single work group with separate department numbers. You can not team preference between old and new shops, but shift preference goes between. With shift reduction in new paint, the lowest seniority was in old paint, and new paint workers are moving to old paint next week, and the low seniority are going out to production. When I was in Material Handling it was the same. Different departments between Body and Trim/Chassis but it was common to roll from Body C crew to Production on A crew. Still Material Handling but different department #

RJ told me if I stay in old body and get bumped off days I COULD NOT go to new body and bump the lowest person...That's all I know.

Ok ok, now, if what blackbird says is right, if u got bumped would you not have to already be low man in either body shop? In that case there would be no one for u to bump right? Could it just be a misunderstanding?

Well guess body shop is ONE shop...Because people from A crew SUV are coming to A crew new body and bumping low seniority.Just the opposite of what I was told by BC..I'm mean fill in BC.Plus I though you couldn't cone to a team and bump a person off their job,but that's wrong too.Oh well 2016s anyway.
