Usually a 3-4 week process. Have to file & get denied unemployment, then sub is requested. They dick around a week or two, usually at least a 3 week process if it goes smoothly.....which happens about as often at Ford as the solar eclipse

UI reported to ford on tuesday, our subpay will process on thursday.

Our union rep came around Friday (10/28) and said that Ford notified the union that our SUB would be paid out on 11/04. Apparently that was totally false because I always get paid two days before our scheduled pay date and I was only paid our regular check today. And my pay stub for last week (10/30) had the same amount of SUB weeks available as I had before the UI filing so it hasn't even been processed yet. I've never had to use SUB pay before so I'm not sure what the normal time frame is but there is no reason we shouldn't have received it this week. The Unemployment Office would have notified Ford the following Tuesday (10/25) after we filed on Sunday (10/23) what they knew already, that we had to wait a week, giving Ford's payroll department a whole week to process our SUB pay for this week. The only real reason we haven't received it yet is so Ford can keep our paychecks in their accounts another week or two longer to collect the interest off of it. It's just typical shady s**t that companies do to make a little bit more money while screwing over their employees.

From bargainer / Was supposed to be paid 11-4... but because of the fire in the offices at Dearborn, will possibly be next week now.

UI should have reported to ford on monday, they didnt. UI didnt report to ford until tuesday, which means subpay will be processed on thursday. fire was not a factor. 3 day delay due to UI not reporting at the expected time.

Just got Sub Pay stub posting on Ford website. Gross pay was only 72% of pay... (Base pay x 40hours) Is this correct ? C crew.. I thought we were due 85% Just wondering.. Probably getting $40 from Ky. Unemployment.. still seems short...

74% of BASE Pay, less $30. I didn't know the Union was gonna get a chunk, though.
